John Westhoff

John Westhoff obtained an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri and went on to obtain his law degree from Texas Tech University in 1974.
He began his career working beside Jack Borden, I.B. Hand, and Austin Zellers and has continued the legacy to date.
Mr. Westhoff is engaged in complex litigation in ALL of the fields mentioned in our Practice Areas page.
John Westhoff is a successful Plaintiff’s lawyer as well as Defense attorney, which is testimony to his reputation as a leader in his field as well as in the community.

Nick Harper

Nick Harper graduated J.D. summa cum laude from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now known as Texas A&M University School of Law).
Before his career as an attorney, Mr. Harper graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a minor in Spanish.
During his time with the United States Marine Corps, he earned the rank of Marine Captain. He was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal.
After his military service, Mr. Harper attended the Arlington Police Academy, graduating as his class valedictorian. During his time as a Police Officer with the Arlington Police Department, he also served as a Police Training Officer.

Cody Asbury
Graduate Law Clerk

Cody Asbury obtained his J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law in 2026. While in law school, Mr. Asbury served as Executive Vice President of the Federalist Society, was a member of the law school’s Mock Trial Team, and was commissioned as a Blackstone Legal Fellow, a selective national fellowship of Christian attorneys.
Before his career in law, Mr. Asbury served seven years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Asbury’s military occupational specialty was 0302, serving as an Infantry Officer. Mr. Asbury currently serves in the Selected Marine Corps Reserves as a Company Commander. Mr. Asbury was also a co-Captain of the 2022 All-Marine Rugby team while on active duty.
During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Asbury attended Baylor University and served as Team Captain (2x all-conference) for the Baylor Rugby Team. Mr. Asbury graduated from Baylor University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and a Minor in Business Administration.
